Publish Meta App

Before you can send WhatsApp messages to customers, your Meta app must be published.

Final Step Before Sending Messages

If your app remains in Development mode, you cannot message your bot.

Publish your app​

  1. Visit Meta Developers and open your app.
  2. On the app dashboard, find Publish on the left hand side bar.
  3. Click Publish, you may need to add your privacy url and terms of service url.
  4. Confirm the publish action.

Verify everything is ready​

  • Confirm your webhook is verified in Meta.
  • Confirm the messages webhook field is subscribed.
  • Send a test message from your WhatsApp Business number.
